  • Hope Skin Cancer Clinic in Forster-Tuncurry NSW

    Dr Muneef Al-Jawabreh

    MD FRACGP

Muneef studied medicine in Jordan and obtained his medical qualification in 2014. Muneef has a keen interest in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment and has completed Advanced Qualifications in Dermatology. Muneef is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

After moving to the area and working at Taree for a short time, Muneef identified a need in the community for a local practice to provide services that no other practices in the local or surrounding areas provide. This is why he set up the practice to not only cater to general medical care for the community but to also provide skin cancer services. Muneef has also obtained qualifications in ‘scalpel free vasectomy” which is another service provided at the practice. Additionally, he also provides Photo Dynamic Therapy for severe acne and skin conditions such as actinic keratosis and superficial skin cancers and provides injectable muscle relaxant for teeth grinding and excessive underarm sweating.

Muneef has a keen interest in teaching students and registrars and has admitting rights at Forster Private Hospital.

  • Dr Farzad Parvizian

Dr Farzad Parvizian has relocated from overseas to join the practice.

With over 20 years’ experience as a doctor, Farzad studied medicine in Iran where he was practicing as a double board-certified plastic surgeon & GP.

Farzad and his young family relocated to Australia in February as they believe they have a better opportunity for raising their young children and feel that Australia is one of the better countries to achieve this. He also knew there was a need for more GP’s in regional areas and felt this area was just what he and his family were looking for. Farzad, his wife & two young children are all settling well into the Forster / Tuncurry lifestyle and absolutely love the area.

Farzad is passionate about delivering high quality care to his patients and providing the newest most advanced therapies and treatments for all their health needs. He is currently training in skin cancer diagnosis and management as it is his ultimate goal to become a Skin Cancer Doctor.

Farzad’s books are open and is happy to see new patients to provide comprehensive medical care. He will be working full time – Monday to Friday – as a GP at the practice.

    New patients welcome.
